Commercial use of this application, its interface, its data compilation, or its features is prohibited without our prior written permission. This includes reselling, sublicensing, incorporating Pastpic into a paid product or service, or using it to generate revenue.
The historic photographs shown remain the property of, and are used with the permission of (or under the public-domain / open-licence terms declared by), their respective archives and rights-holders, who are credited on each city’s welcome screen. The arrangement, geolocation, captions, translations, enhancements and compilation are the property of Pastpic.com.
You may not scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-download, mirror or otherwise systematically extract the photographs, data or compilation from Pastpic.com for your own or any third party’s use.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application, nor attempt to derive its source code, data pipeline or structure.
Pastpic.com does not require an account and does not use tracking cookies. To understand how many people use each city, we count anonymous visits using a short-lived, one-way hash that is re-salted every day and cannot identify you or track you across days, sites or sessions. No personal data is stored or sold. Your location, if you use the “near me” feature, stays on your device and is never sent to us.
